Homecoming: Katherine Jenkins heads back to school in figure hugging navy blue minidress

The stunning blonde mezzo soprano put on a leggy display for her homecoming at Dwr-y-Felin comprehensive in her native Neath in South Wales earlier on today.

Katherine showed off her endless set of pins as she took to the stage to perform for pupils and staff in a navy blue Ted Baker lace collar dress.

The 34-year-old singer teamed the stylish number, which hugged her slender frame, with a pair of nude court heels, while styling her hair loose in a cascade of waves.

SINGER Katherine Jenkins was welcomed with a warm reception as she returned to the school where it all began for her.She later paid tribute to her old music teacher Mrs Brown by presenting her with a gold copy of her new album, Home Sweet Home.

Presenting the framed CD she said: "I had five wonderful years at Dwr-y-Felin and it’s only when you’re older you realise the fantastic dedication your teachers showed."

"In Dwr-y-Felin teachers like Mrs B"The world would be a much duller place without music so I just can’t understand why arts and music funding seem to be the first to be cut."

Referring to her latest body of work, she added: "Making this album has been an absolute dream. I am so thankful to be in a place where creativity is encouraged, classical music is understood and where I’ve been allowed to return to where my heart lies musically.

"This record is me at my most natural, my most authentic, and I can’t wait to share it with my very valued fans."

Home Sweet Home is out now.

Nice one Katherine!
