'It's not been easy': Lewis Hamilton admits maintaining his transatlantic romance with Nicole Scherzinger has been 'tough'

He recently won his second Formula 1 world title and has a beautiful girlfriend in the form of Nicole Scherzinger.
But Lewis Hamilton has admitted that maintaining his relationship with the pop star beauty 'hasn't been easy' at times.
The Grand Prix star has admitted the long distance nature of their relationship places them under enormous strain.

Speaking about their romance, the 29-year-old racing driver who started dating Nicole, 36, in 2007, said: 'It's not been easy - she lives in LA, I live in Monaco and I'm travelling a lot for work.
'Her job is shifting all the time, whether it's X Factor or Dancing With The Stars or Cats or music. Juggling your schedule to meet with the other is very hard, and it's a long year with F1.

The couple split in January 2010 to focus on their careers before getting back together.
