'I have so much love for him': Selena Gomez gushes about Justin Bieber as she confirms she's single in new radio interview

She wowed the AMAs audience with an emotional performance of new single The Heart Wants What It Wants.
And although she confirmed it to be about her turbulent on-off relationship with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez was happy to gush about the Baby singer in a new interview.
The 22-year-old star revealed to Norway's NJR radio on Thursday: 'I definitely have so much respect and love for him,'

She continued: 'And going in the studio is just very therapeutic... it was my way of having it be a message more to people in general.
'People everywhere feel this feeling, and they should understand when anybody goes through that.'
As to whether Selena is currently dating anyone, the Come & Get It singer was quick to respond, 'No, I'm not, actually,' before adding that she 'doesn't even know how to work [Tinder].'

The host was also curious as to what Selena thought of Bieber's new platinum blond hairdo, which the Canadian crooner debuted last week. To which the songstress graciously replied: 'That's for him. I'll let him answer all that'
Selena gave a tearful and heartfelt performance of her new single about her ex at the American Music Awards show last month.
Reflecting on the song and accompanying video Selena recently opened up to radio host Ryan Seacrest.
She said: 'And he has heard [the song] and he has seen the video, and it's something that I feel like girls need to hear, and it's something I'm willing to share with people.
'He thought it was beautiful [but] I think it is really hard at first.'
She added: 'I support him, I think I always will. I'm upset when he is upset, I'm happy when he's happy. I don't want anything to ever happen to him, it hurts me.'
